SECRET. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Y5080 To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re Chassis Engines - Automatic Controls. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} EY. EY/NW.{N. Walker - Patents} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. E/Psn. Sgl/E22.6.34 Many thanks for E.S/HP.16.6.34. I have not replied earlier because I wished first to consult with C, Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} etc. We are strongly in favour of the elimination of as many hand controls as possible and it is quite clear that in comparison with American cars we are already badly out of date in this respect. I assume that you will be working along the line of introducing these alterations on SpectreCodename for Phantom III and Wraith as distinct from our present models? Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
