contd :- -3- The holes in the cork seating should be punched out .020" dia. larger than the holes in the metal to allow for the compression of the cork during service. Tests carried out by The Autovac Mfg. Co. shew that the most efficient sized petrol piping for use with the Autovac is .250" bore for a straight pipe but should be increased where a sharp change in direction is necessary.
