Technical suggestion to prevent undershield damage from square collars by riveting a small steel plate at the contact point.

Z 52/5 Mr. Spinney 21-9-11 It has been noticed that the square collars which secure the undershield to the frame cut into the aluminium after a short time. To overcome this difficulty it has been suggested that a small steel plate be rivetted to the undershield at the point which comes into contact with the square collar. The plate may be as shown in the sketch below. Will you kindly issue instructions for fitting an undershield with these plates for Mr. Platford's car. Suggestion No. 112. T.C. 28th meeting - (6)- | ||
