For the attention of Mr. West,
Experimental.

Dear Sir,

We send herewith two spring arms for the rack windscreen wiper fitted to your Continental test car.

We have measured the spring pressures at a five inch radius from the driving spindle centres and found them to be 3 and 3.5 ozs: respectively.

Hoping that the arms will meet your requirements, and trusting that we shall receive your comments in due course.

Yours faithfully,
JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED,
ELECTRICAL DEPARTMENT.
