Dear Sirs,

We are forwarding to you, under separate cover, two clocks. These are to be examined and specially adjusted according to the arrangement made with your Mr. Arrowsmith.

Particulars of these two instruments are as follows :-

One, type DB.{Donald Bastow - Suspensions}2322, No.264 has been under observation on a car for about eight weeks. It was found to consistently lose time, by an amount varying from two to eleven minutes a week.

One earlier type with large case and windows marked No.4. This was under observation for about five weeks and was also found to lose. The amount lost ranged from four to eight minutes a week.

When returning these instruments to us, would you kindly arrange to have them address for the attention of Mr. R.{Sir Henry Royce} M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Child.
