20 HP. CHASSIS - FRONT WHEEL BRAKES.

Please note that we should bring the 20 HP. chassis into line with the 40/50 HP. so far as the damping on the outside of the drum is concerned. This means that we will delete the damping pads which are held on to the outside of the drum by the spring, and instead of these we form a groove on the drum near the open end of same and fit the spring directly on to the drum. We should bring this modification in as soon as possible.

Will the Works therefore stop producing the damping segments for the outside of thedrum, and as soon as they get particulars from the D.O. start producing the groove in the correct position on the drum itself.

Will the Experimental Department kindly issue a standardisation sheet to cover this.
