The Watford Magneto Contact Breaker B.9224 referred to in yours EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 3/T9.5.25 was returned to North & Sons Ltd. on the 11th inst. and we are this morning in receipt of their report on same, dated 15th inst. as follows:- "We beg to say that we have closely examined "the fractured rocker arm of contact breaker B.9224 "and we find that this arm is one of our early "pattern fitted to this type of contact breaker. "This arm has now been modified in order to "obtain a greater amount of material at the point "of fracture and so prevent future breakages. The "modification to the arm entails an alteration to "the base plate which means fitting a new base "plate of the modern pattern. "As this lever is of the pattern before the "modification was decided upon we are repairing same "free of charge and will despatch the contact "breaker to you as soon as possible."
