x7080. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c.c. R.H.S. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}1/HP.9.6.32. Re Semi-Expanding Carburetter Ph.II. We send you herewith Lec.3123. We have prepared this scheme to overcome the air lock trouble when filling up with petrol after having run dry. You will notice that the petrol now flows in a straightforward manner through the jet to the diffuser instead of the indirect method which we have at present. Scheme "B" on the blueprint is quite suitable for fitting to the existing carburetter. In addition to making the main jet parts will you please make three needles each of them differing in the amount of taper. There is also to be made for this scheme a new rocking lever for the main regulator. this is two pieces of sheet metal rivetted together. E/JNR.{Charles L.
