Gun Barrel Forgings.

We attach hereto a letter from The English Steel Corporation Limited, respecting the above and shall be glad if you will now place an official order with them for 60 gun barrel forgings.

The contract number for these forgings is CP.60604/40 P.O.89-60.

The English Steel Corporation have full details in regard to chemical composition, physical properties etc. as discussed with their Mr.Burton.

The forgings will be delivered rough machined on the outside and fully heat treated.

They will be tested by The English Steel Corporation in accordance with the usual requirements of the C.I.A. and they will supply us with their own private certificate of tests.
