W/K.{Mr Kilner} To KC. from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 261 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}2/AP.14.7.37 139 JY I saw Phil Paddon last week end and he was very worried about the clutch on his 4¼ Bentley, which in spite of having a propeller shaft damper, is a bad clutch. This car left the Works about 1st. March, and no one can say definitely whether the clutch is of the type which had the finger setting corrected by a gauge plate. I am suggesting to him that he should send the car along to you, and if you can see nothing silly with it, you may have to change the clutch.
