Dear Sir, I am pleased to inform you, in response to your letter of the 30th., that the considerable repairs needed as a result of the Military traffic over the Track have been made good by the Air Board, the very open weather we have experienced making this an easier matter than it would have been in most winters. There remain only minor repairs to be carried out by ourselves-- the sort of repairs that we had to make each year in normal times. I shall have pleasure in informing you as soon as the Track is re-opened and fit for such tests as those you mention. I do not think it will be long before I can do so. Yours faithfully, (Sgd) V.{VIENNA} L. SKINNER. Secretary. | ||
