BENTLEY CAR.

We are arranging with Hancock to return to Derby with the Bentley car before Easter. We expect him to be back in Derby on Thursday 13th inst. By that time the car should have completed approx. 15,000 miles.
We are bringing back all the men for Easter. They have been out there for several months and it is a convenient time to have them back. They will return after the holidays with 18.C.IV.

We want No.1 car back so that we can have the opportunity of examining it, because after Easter the works will be pressing forward with the preliminary batch of cars.

As the Bentley car we are producing is very different from No.1, we do not see that any useful purpose will be served by Sales officials trying No.1.

We should like you to agree to No.3 car being completed in two or three weeks after Easter, delivered to Sales, and then they can carry out their own tests and let anyone try it they may wish. No.3 car, of course, will represent the final design for production.
