X.3743 X.3426. This box has been fitted to 2.EX Car which is running the 10,000 mile test. The short test we made with this before the car went away, showed that it was an improvement. We recommend that this stronger Actuator Box is adopted as soon as possible. At the same time we think it is most important that the modifications found necessary on the starter clutch should be incorporated immediately. We think perhaps that the modifications to the clutch are even more necessary than the stronger actuator box. The trouble with the starter clutch varies so considerably on different chassis, that we can only attribute it tothe viscosity of the oil and the aera of the oil film.
