We greatly regret that we were not able to hand this car over to you yesterday as early as was anticipated and even then the reconstructions we had carried out were not entirely to our satisfaction as our test and adjustment time was not sufficient to enable us to eliminate all Body noises. We trust, however, that the work done generally will render the car suitable for your additional test trial in France. If you find that you have any time to spare before sending the car over-seas, we shall be most happy to complete our work in the proper manner. With regard to the paint on this, as you have already realised, this is of an entirely temporary nature. We are, Yours faithfully, HOOPER & CO (Coachbuilders) LTD. | ||
