With reference to your memo BN {W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} 8/W11.12.19, providing drop forgers can see no extra risk of drop forging this material I should have the better quality fitted to the next test car.

Cars in France are going through most terrible times, owing to the dreadful state of the raod, in fact a very severe bumping test as bad as during the War.

Let me know if these parts have been effectively heat treated to the satisfaction of Mr. Hall.
