Ref. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} F.{Mr Friese} C. 7/T.
Your letter of the 19th. inst., to hand. We are in communication with the Local Authorities with a view to obtaining official sanction to the use of our Lucid Non-Dazzle Shade refered to, and we will communicate with you again so soon as we have got the License through.
We might mention that we have a pair of Lamps fitted with the Shades on our Car and have used same in the Street and not been stopped. Also we have on show a C. A.{Mr Adams} V.{VIENNA} Lamp fitted with the Shade showing how same is fitted.
