RE ALUMINIUM SILENCER BRACKET.
With reference to the above bracket, Drawing No E566 handed to Experimental Dept on April 24th, and in reply to the Drawing Office sheet dated March 6th 1912 we have tested this on one of our Experimental Cars but after running 300 miles it broke.
I also draw your attention to the fact that there is a certain amount of strain to the silencer.
