Title. Sec. L.O.P.

Luggage Grid. 7002 D.72135.

OY. STATES:
Not required.

Agreed. Nothing for Conference to settle. Verrey Minutes say: 'It was agreed that there would be no objection to not supplying our standard type of truck rack, but that we should insist on supplying the back wheel carrier, but are willing to adapt it to suit American luggage rack or grid scheme.'

Instrument Board. 7190 F.80964.

OY. STATES:
(A-P). Revised horizontal lay-out. Can we eliminate hand-pump for K.S. Gauge? Also make Oil Gauge read to 60 lbs. and instruments made to harmonize?

All agreed some revision is necessary for both cars, and therefore each point should be referred to the Design Committee and Experimental Department for consideration. Oy. stated the speedometer would be supplied by America, but the small instruments he would like England to supply. The cost of any revised scheme will also have to be considered. Oy. cabled to U.S.A. for a set of instruments for inspection as it was considered that their type was more satisfactory in some respects than our own, more particularly as regards uniform appearance and being dustproof.

Wiring & Fixtures. 7380 F.80780.

OY. STATES:
(A-P) Modifications for -
(1) Dimming.

Item 1 - Dimming is dealt with under Item 2 on Page 4. Agreed that provision should be made on cars in order that U.S.A. can fit a Robert Bosch switch, until such time as we ourselves are fitting a Dimming Switch as standard.
