Dear Sirs, Very many thanks for your letter of the 7th inst. with reference to my proposed visit to your Works. I am so sorry there has been such a muddle about this visit but I was quite unable to come today owing to other engagements. I note that Monday the 12th is inconvenient for you so I now suggest we fix Tuesday the 13th definitely. If this is in order at your end, there is no need to reply to confirm it. I will try and arrive at 12 o'clock for a preliminary discussion before lunch but failing that it will be after lunch at 2.0. p.m. In point of fact the delay is rather advantageous as I shall be able to complete the work I am now engaged upon, namely, making up a spare set of | ||
