I will ask CJ. to decide this point. I note, however, you would like it back at the beginning of September.

With regard to the other Amateur drivers, you will have received a report from Bk.{A. Birkett - Commercial Manager} by now. Major Hodges, who was the third driver, has not yet returned - I think he must be taking a further week, and I have not heard from him. I am leaving a note for him to send you a report as soon as he arrives and also the fourth driver, Mr. Northey's brother.

We have not tried a Cabriolet on the Goshawk chassis and Barkers are building a 4-door type Cabriolet on rather a different principle. If possible we should like to test it on a live chassis - at the moment it is being fitted on to a dummy.

Would you like to put it on the Amateur-driven Goshawk instead of the present Limousine, and test it for a bit?

Perhaps you will let me know if this proposal is of interest to you and I will endeavour to fix up accordingly as it would be very useful to us.

C.
