Misfiring.KLG type 765.A.

Further to my K/KC/DPB/15.8.35, and in conjunction with your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst12.KW.16.8.35, we are returning to you under cover of our advice note No.4214, six KLG plugs type 765.A. removed from chassis No.B.139.CW, the property of Mr. Healey, the complaint with which was fuel starvation, which has been diagnosed as misfiring.

These plugs were fitted on the 17.7.35 by K and the mileage covered to date is 1410. Fuel used - Ethyl.

As this chassis is one which the Inspection Department are in touch with, I have decided to fit the experimental type KLG 850 plugs to this chassis.

Would Bt{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer} notify the Inspector who is dealing with Mr.Healey that experimental type sparking plugs is fitted to this chassis with a view to rendering a report to me on their behaviour.

K/KC.
