We have this morning received the design for the hand brake lever.

In regard to the question of the strength of the third motion shaft for Bensport, upon receipt of your original drawing, and knowing the weakness of this general design of shaft, we immediately re-drew the part in question, bringing it up proportionately to the strength of the later form you produced for the motion shaft of Phantom.

The drawings still outstanding are :-

(1). Gearbox Suspension, as although we have received blueprint of N.Sch.3558, and this gives a rough indication of what is intended at the rear end there is nothing to show what is intended as a means of support at the forward end.

(2). Servo. This is roughly shown, but we are definite-ly of the opinion that it should be made possible to obtain a servo 1" larger in diameter than the scheme shown.
We would like to have your proposals as to how this should be achieved.
If you will agree to moving the brackets carrying the bridge piece for the servo ½" outwards on each side, that is increase the centres by 1", and wire us to this effect we can carry on and produce the details.
We would like to remark that you have shown the servo on N.Sch.3558 on the right hand side of the car instead of the left as has been our usual practice. This may, of course, be quite in order, but it is worth while mentioning it as we have no
