PETERBOROUGH.

Dear Sirs,

We understand from the Cambridge Instrument Co. that you employ one of their rotational accelerometers for investigation of torsional vibrations in Diesel engines.

We should be very grateful if you would let us know what you really think of this instrument and what are the largest frequency and amplitude that you have measured. We are looking for an instrument to measure round about plus or minus 1 @ 250 per second. We wonder whether from your knowledge you can say that the Cambridge Instrument is suitable for this work.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
