Answering your Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}4/NJ18.6.24 brushes of this quality are at present undergoing tests on experimental chassis 4-GII. One set has already run 5419 miles on a dynamo on another chassis satisfactorily, but it is understood that the 10,000 mile test required implies 10,000 miles on one machine on one chassis. It may be some little time before this test is completed, as the particular chassis in question is on loan at the moment. However, to prove that the quality is uniform it will be necessary to obtain some more of these brushes, and accordingly will you kindly order up four sets, comprising:- 8 Main brushes to D.50761. 4 Control " to D.50736. in this quality material.
