With reference to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/LG10827., we will send you shortly.a scheme for increasing the bearing area of the plates on the serrations. In the meanwhile it was noticed on the blue car when it was down here that in spite of considerable friction on the device the joggles, even on this smooth road, were not eliminated. We were under the impression that this device was the supreme joggle remover, and recollect that when it was first tried on the 20HP., this seemed to be its most prominent feature. The play in the serrations on the blue car was very small.
