1345 Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}10/MH.{M. Huckerby} 16th. February, 1940. H.Sammons, Esq., Messrs. Armstrong Securities Co. Ltd., Kadenacy Dept., Buckingham Avenue, Trading Estate, Slough, BUCKS. Dear Mr. Sammons, We have now given due consideration to the size of 2-stroke oil engine which will fit our projected programme. We feel that the cylinder size should be such that it can produce 25 h.p. at a very conservative speed and m.e.p. We should propose to build the engine in 3 sizes - 3-cylinders 75 h.p., 4-cylinders 100 h.p., 6-cylinders 150 h.p. If you would like us to come down when you have considered your recommendations further, this can be arranged, or alternatively, perhaps you would send the necessary information to Derby. We are ready to start on the job this end just as soon as you give us the word "Go". Yours sincerely, | ||
