Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

I attach herewith a further letter which I have just received from the States regarding the rather nasty looking Cadillac valve which you gave me, and which I forwarded to our laboratory for their scrutiny and remarks. This letter was sent to our Australia office by mistake so it is rather overdue.

Whilst I do not suppose you are now particularly interested in the valve in question, I thought you might like to have a record of the remarks made about it. You will be pleased to note Sam Heron's remarks regarding "British lubricating oil".

I hope you are having, or have had, a very good holiday. I started mine about five or six days ago, but had to come back to the office for two days. I hope to leave again by tomorrow night at the latest.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,

FRB/BB
