TIMING NEW CAMSHAFT E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 82448 1140. We have established that the best results are obtained with a timing (measured with .020 tappet clearance) where the inlet valve does not open earlier than 2° B.T.C. or close later than 6° A.T.C. The timing, measured at the mean of these two positions, is approximately:- [Diagram Labels] 2 9 Ex 50 IN 50 .020 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
