Bentley Rear Axle Pinion Thrust Race.

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/KW.21.9.35, we may point out that the scheme of lubrication now found successful is the original design, the defective scheme being an innovation introduced without our knowledge by Ransome and Marles, who omitted, for no particular reason, the slots in the outer races which provide a passage for the oil from the exterior feeding device.
