TYPE NAME FOR INDEPENDENTLY SPRUNG BENTLEY. We have run into a considerable amount of confusion in the Expt. Dept. due to the fact that we had already named chassis Bentleys I, II, III and IV, before we came to the present independently sprung car. The result is that we have been using B.V. as the type number, whereas the car has been generally known as the B.III. In order to avoid confusion in future, we have decided to refer to this chassis as 'B.V.' and shall be glad if everybody will do the same thing. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
