We thank you for your confirmation of our telephone conversation.

We did fit the new tyres to the N.S. & now after 1345 miles we find that it is 4 ozs or 36 oz/ins out of balance, the heaviest part now being about a 1/3 of the circumference away from the original heaviest spot. The O.S is 2 ozs or 18 oz/ins out of balance.

We attach a drawing showing the wear taking place, the shaded parts stand proud of the rest of the tread, this also occurs on the rears, you will no doubt notice that there is a left & right hand pattern, one causing a zig-zag form of protuberances the other two lines at the outer edges.

We have asked Paris depot to make up some backing rings for the Michelin wheels & to despatch the tyres to us immediately they receive them.

We are sorry we forgot to mention the Vanvooren seats to RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} when we met him on Sunday.

Our report of heavy pedal pressure on the brakes followed 2 or 3 experiences each time we were absolutely unable to account for it after a thorough examination, but should it occur again will repeat our endeavours.

We note your remarks regarding the dampers.

We will let Mr. Parnell have a note of all parcels etc despatched to you.

RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/ J N Pace
H Gardiner.
