To He/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} From GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 45840 Hotel de france, Chateauroux. Indre. France. 13th December 1934 Having completed 10,000 miles on 21 U 1V, we have dismantled the engine, and examined the connecting rod bearings. We have the greatest pleasure in reporting that we have never seen bearings in such a good condition at the finish of 10,000 miles. They are in a perfect condition. We are taking the opportunity of examining the main bearings, clutch, brakes, etc. before commencing the 10,000 miles using Wakefield's CW. oil. We congratulate you upon the results. G.W.H.
