X146. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}15/KT.30.1.33. ROAD SPRINGS FOR PEREGRINE. For the first twenty cars the correct road springs will be 800 lbs. rear and 600 lbs. front for the saloon cars of the low rating type, and for the close coupled four door saloons, 600 lbs front and 860 lbs. rear of the stiffer type. We were surprised that the close coupled saloons were actually heavier than the normal saloons, but have confirmed this. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
