Re. 20/25 HP. FRONT WINGS.

Referring to EP {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} /Thn.4/H.18.4.32., and LE.2/C/16.4.32., the original suggestion relating to an extra wing stay was made by Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /GWH {George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} as something that might be a possible solution of the wing movement complaint, but was not intended to be something which we wished you to try out. As far as we are concerned we are not aware that the trouble is sufficiently serious for us to make a move. In any case the suggested extra wing stay is a job which would require D.O. investigation, and laying out before it could be tried. It should be clearly understood that the original suggestion of using an extra stay was not meant as an alteration which LE or the coachbuilders could try out.

Your memo LE.2/C/16.4.32., is attached herewith as requested.
