Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} 11 /ST.{Capt. P. R. Strong} 16th August, 1940. British Tool & Engineering Co. 4th Avenue Bushbury Wolverhampton. Experimental Department. Dear Mr. Evans, Many thanks for the courtesy extended during my recent visit to your factory. At the present time, we are waiting for the Admiralty to give us the final "go ahead" on this project. In the meantime, the question of machine tools is a problem by itself, which again hangs on the above decision. As the job is sorted out, we will contact you again, if there is any possibility of using your available floor space. I am, Yours sincerely, | ||
