30th July, 1941.

Messrs. Jonas Woodhead & Sons Ltd.,
Kirkstall Road,
LEEDS. 4.

Attention of Mr.T.H.Sanders.

Dear Sirs,

We propose to fit lubricated front springs to a car in our possession and we would like to do it by means of your scheme of lubricators formed integrally in the leaf ends.

We would keep the existing main leaves which are 3/16" thick and would like you to supply the remainder of the spring as shown on the enclosed drawing RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}729.

Will you please let us know whether you can do this.

We have been giving consideration to the points raised at Mr. Bastow's visit, and we shall be writing you fully on these soon.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,

Enclosure:
Blue Print No. RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}729.
