Alterations for Bundy tubing and brake systems on specific vehicle models.

When 9.B.V. comes into the Shop, will you please make the following alterations:- BUNDY TUBING. Fit ¼" External dia. tubing through-out shock damper system; also 5/16" External dia. tubing in the petrol system between the pump and the flexible connection to the carburettor. BRAKES. Increase clearances in operating lever system. All levers in jaws marked A.{Mr Adams} on attached drawing. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}611. to have .025 ± .005 sideways clearance. Where marked B. the levers should have .015 - .005 diametrical clearance, and the pins to be chromium plated. All the Girling wedge units are to have the plungers and wedges ground down .001 and chromium plated to .0005" thick. All plate levers marked C. on diagram to be dull nickel plated. (All the foregoing brake alterations will be carried out on the 11.B.V. when possible.) The arm of the front brake damper to be machined to .375 wide as shown in attached sketch.
