S.R. 235A (100 T) (S.H. 159. 11-8-20) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 3800 ORIGINAL TO HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M20. 3. 23. GOSHAWK 11. ALL-WEATHER HEAD. X3730 With reference to Mr. Beatonson's promise to provide us with a new all-weather head for 5.Gos: ll. we should be very glad to know what state this question has now arrived at. We understood that you suggested that a new body should be provided, and that the new head should be fitted to it, because there are several points on 5.G.ll. that are not quite right. We gather that the outstanding question is whether we are prepared to buy a new body. We have some suggestions to make as to how the head and the body can be improved, taking advantage of some suggestions that Mr. Beatonson has made, but we do not wish to do any work on this unless the body is likely to be ordered.
