He2/LGS.2.24. OBJECT OF TEST. Comparison of RR. and Hispano cars. TESTER. W.A. Robotham. A.J. Lidsey. CONDITIONS. Road tests. Standard type 40/50 chassis used. The chassis was fitted with radius rods. SUMMARY OF TEST. The tests show :- (1) There is very little wear with cast iron liners on servo. (2) That the Hispano servo never gets hot. (3) That the RR. with 4-speed box climbs the hills more comfortably than the Hispano. (4) That the braking backwards on the Hispano requires very big pedal pressures.
