Servo Linings.

We have tried out S.4947 servo linings on 20-G-IV and 1-B-IV. In each case after fitting these liners the brakes were very poor and spongy. On 20-G-IV the servo output was checked and gave 225 lbs. against 300 lbs. foot pedal load.

We decided to fit Mintex linings to prove the point and these gave an output of 375 lbs. The servo was then finally built up and the brakes had recovered.
