WILLESDEN 2595 (6 LINES) TELEGRAMS WARENPAR·WILLROAD·LONDON 16th. December, 1938. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of Mr. Harvey Bailey. Dear Mr. Bailey, When Mr. Robotham was down here on Monday he mentioned to us about the Mead McLean ventilators being not quite satisfactory. There is a pair ordered for 3-B-50, and we should, in the next day or two, be passing on the order to Messrs. Mead McLean to make this pair of ventilators. After Mr. Robotham's remarks I am wondering whether you are still going on with these Mead McLean ventilators or whether you would like some other type fitted. I will delay ordering until I hear from you. Yours faithfully, for PARK WARD & CO.LTD [Signature] DIRECTOR. [Handwritten note] RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} says he likes what you have fitted up on 7-B-5 + suggests you get that scheme applied to 3-B-50 in place of the Mead - McLean ventilators already ordered. Perhaps you would like to think it over & have a word with me so that I can reply to this memo. E.U. 17-12-38. | ||
