I would be very interested to now hear from you what progress you have been able to make with regard to the suppressors and other fitments necessary on our chassis in connection with the fitting of wireless sets. The ultimate aim I believe was that we should be able to equip our chassis with certain fittings in such a way that all that remained to be done was the fitting and coupling up of the wireless set, and in that way we could feel sure that nothing thereafter would be likely to interfere with the functioning of the engine. Can you tell me how near yet we are to that stage, so that our experience and advice may be helpful, firstly, in insuring that our chassis is properly equipped for wireless, and secondly, so that we can advise people and if necessary supply the parts or even fit them to chassis already in use to which the owner may have decided to fit a wireless set. Naturally we want to be able to put into effect the benefit of our experience in this way as soon as we can, to counteract any future possibility of cars running badly through badly fitted wireless installations. In other words, what I am really asking you for is a general resume of the progress you have so far made with your investigations into these matters. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
