Query regarding the alteration of Watford Type EW6 magnetos for a U.S.A. model SS chassis.

| X7791. By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from EFC. EFC3/ADL9.9.29. X.7791. WATFORD TYPE EW6 MAGNETOS OF R.H. ROTATION FOR U.S.A. MODEL OF SS.{S. Smith} CHASSIS. We have three of these magnetos with us which we obtained sometime ago for the above purpose. We are not sure what the position is in regard to this special chassis. Perhaps you will let us know what steps, if any, we should take with these three machines. It is probable that they can be readily altered to standard R.H. rotation in the S.S. magnetos, the only difference being the hand of the cam ring. EFC. | ||
