F.10. - ROCKERS WITHOUT ROLLERS. With further reference to E5/M7.3.27. we send you herewith blueprint of Sch. 904 showing layout of rockers without rollers with the position of the cam follower pads altered, so that they operate as near as possible on the same radial line from the camshaft centre to enable us to use interchangeable camshafts. If we retain the present cam lift of .312 the valve lift will be increased from .462 to .465, and we would like to know if you consider that we should produce new cams with a reduced lift in order to maintain the present valve lift.
