SPRING DRIVE " 5020.

RE: ENDURANCE TEST ON "FERROGRIP" BELTS.

In accordance with memo Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.12/MH.{M. Huckerby}17.5.38. asking for Ph.111 Fan to be used, together with parts called for on memo BY/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design}11/G.30.4.38. Please note this job should be built up as follows :-

Section 5220.
All parts to LOP. EW.1776, except the following :-

E.89255 Blade 5 off replaces EW.1514.
Ex.S.711 Hub 1 off )
Ex.S.709 Pulley 1 off ) " EW.1548.
Ex.S.710 Adjusting Bracket 1 off " EW.1772.

The Ferrogrip belt supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. replaces EW.1775.

SECTION 5020.
Ex.S.708 Fan Pulley 1 off replaces EW.1520.

All other pieces to LOP EW.1423.

Kindly instruct as above and fit to B.111 No.5 unit.
