[Handwritten top left corner]: 10S. Chassis No. 40PK. re-allotted to W. Hoopers left W. 13.10.23 asked for a substitute Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} W.W. We have no chassis PWB 15/10/23 [Handwritten top center]: X8830 re: Ten Thousand Mile Test Bodies. The position at the moment is that chassis Nos. 98-N.K and 35-P.K. are both being fitted with Open Bodies by Messrs Barker. 93-N.K. has not yet reached Barkers but as soon as it does we shall collect it and deliver it to Messrs Park Ward & Co. who will fit on it an Allweather body. With regard to the Pullman, Barker's have got a body of this type already for mounting and we have ordered this. The body is built to suit a "B" steering column and has a division behind the driver. Please send Barkers 40-P.K. for this. 40-P.K. is off test and standing at the Works and we are allotting it to you in place of 42-P.K. which has a "D" steering and is of course, unsuitable for the body Barkers have ready. [Handwritten left margin]: Test Dept. have been instructed to do this WH 16/10/23. [Handwritten annotation 'Eade' above following paragraph] With regard to the remaining two chassis Nos 46-P.K. and 48-P.K. please send the former to Hoopers - Chelsea, who have an Open body ready for mounting and the latter to Messrs Park Ward who will mount on it another Allweather body. [The following paragraph is struck through]: We attach our official order for six tyres to chassis Nos. 40-P.K 46-P.K. and 48-P.K. C/Hn.{F. C.
