Dear Mr. Miles,

Thank you for your letter of the 30th instant (ref. HGM/JC) and also for the samples and catalogue which we received a few days ago and for your offer of help on any problems which we may have. I shall undoubtedly be glad to take advantage of your offer later on.

I gather from your letter that you are busy, but I should like to know that, should we require any experimental sections of rubber that are likely to be wanted later on, you would be in a position to run a short length for us.

At the present moment I have in mind a section that will act as a seal round all doors. No dimension drawing has yet been made. I have only made a rough sketch of what I think would be suitable.
