COPY OF LETTER FROM NICHOLLS BROTHERS, Via a Solari No. 9, Milano. Chassis 16-LM. Mr. Ubertalli writes that he has had a visit from an Englishman who says that he has tried the new 40/50 with overhead valves, etc. etc. As this customer is and has always been intent on only having the latest model he asks for the above chassis to be substituted for the new type with overhead valves, etc. etc. and of course F.W.B. Will you kindly go into this and let me know something as quickly as you can, bearing in mind that 16-LM is almost ready now at Hoopers with a specially built body and is not to be delivered until the F.W.B. are ready and fitted. The above will also affect the 20 LK{L. King} on hand here, and perhaps you may have suggestions to make because the word will now soon get round and make this car obsolete. Mr. Ubertalli is also anxious to take part at his expense in the Alpine Races. What do you think of this suggestion? I am, Yours truly, (Signed) P. B. Nicholls. | ||
