To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst. 60171 BY/RD.4/B.29.5.37. WRAITH IGNITION COIL - LOP. D.75673. Referring to the five items in Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wst.8/JH.27.5.37. The items have been dealt with as follows :- (e) Thackeray Washer - Instructed 8.5.37. (d) S.C.C. Wire - Instructed 21.5.37. (c) Separate drawing DW.290 - Issued for this item 26.5.37. We are not clear whether this alternative winding is definitely to supercede the previous one. (b) The primary end connections through the centre of screw. This is the first we have heard of this and requires looking into. The long small holes are not a very practical proposition. (a) Flexible connections. The best method of doing this is being looked into. RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} Please note & return Whr.{Mr Wheeler} BY/RD. | ||
