LUXORBO GLAND PACKING. x4590 Our experimental tests with the Luxorbo gland packing our encouraging. We think that this gland is quite good but it does not easily accommodate itself to a spring load as the asbestos' gland. What we feel would be ideal for water pumps is a nitrogen steel shaft with asbestos gland which would overcome the trouble of scoring. Luxorbo packing certainly seems to be better than any other proprietory brand we have tested. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
